About McDonald Menu

McDonald Menu is an independent price and menu information project. We are not McDonald's, and we don't pretend to be.

We built McDonald Menu because the question "what's actually on the menu, and what does it cost near me" is harder to answer than it should be. Corporate menu pages show a national item list but rarely a real local price, and local prices at McDonald's franchises can vary meaningfully by state, city, and even by individual restaurant.

This site pulls the current national menu, descriptions, nutrition, and official product photography directly from public pages McDonald's already publishes for anyone to view. That part is automated and refreshed on a schedule so item names, calories, and ingredient statements stay current.

Per-restaurant pricing is the part that cannot be automated honestly. McDonald's does not publish franchise-level pricing anywhere a computer program can read without logging in, and we do not attempt to bypass the authentication or bot protection on the systems that do have that data. Instead, local prices on this site come from admin-verified observations — a specific restaurant, a specific item, a specific price, checked on a specific date, with the source of that observation recorded. Where we have not yet verified a price for a given restaurant, we say so plainly instead of guessing.

We would rather show "price unavailable" than a number we made up. See our Data Methodology page for the full explanation of how sourcing and verification work.
